Welcome to the home of NAPHR (National Association of Park Home Residents). A wholly voluntary organisation established in 1982. We advise on matters relating to Mobile Home lifestyle; buying a Home, forming a Residents Association, the Mobile Homes Acts, Written Statements etc. Normal membership fee is £5 per home per annum and is open to Residential Home Owners on Permanently Licensed Parks excluding site owners, their relatives, agents or employees.
This entitles you to access the telephone advice line and/or written replies if you send copies of correspondence. It is always helpful if you can send copies of the EXPRESS TERMS of your Agreement/Written Statement plus Park Rules. On receipt of payment you will receive by return, a copy of our Constitution and a receipt in the form of a voucher which entitles you to a 10% discount off your Home Insurance if you insure with Towergate Bakers of Cheltenham Ltd.
To encourage residents to form Park Residents Associations we are now offering £3 Bulk Membership to Qualifying Residents Associations with more than 50% of the total homes on the park in their association provided they send a list of their members and one cheque annually to cover all members.
Current members will automatically be included in the Bulk scheme to enable us to have everyone on the same renewal date.
We have a committee of ten in various locations from West Sussex to North Wales and north of the border into Scotland.
We endeavour to deal mostly by telephone or by letter but park visits can be arranged where necessary, alternately you can arrange a visit to our head office in Colwyn Bay, we are located on the main street and the office is above Coffee Corner Cafe opposite the Theatre.
On matters involving all residents on a park... It is important you appoint one person to liaise with us. It has been known for 14 (fourteen) phone calls to be made in one day from one park on the same subject, think how frustrating and annoying that would be if you were the recipient.
Take advantage of this offer to boost your won association numbers. We plan to keep the scheme running and increasing numbers joining will ensure this.
We represent over 12,000 members on 630+ parks, we are aware of Residents Associations on about half of those of which 170+ have now joined in our £3 Bulk scheme.
New members will receive our latest Newsletter and Guidelines to the latest Legislation from Government regarding the inclusion into the Mobile Homes Act 1983 of the RPTS (Residential Properties Tribunal Service).
